Right femoral shaft metastasis: cervical cancer

Approximately 5cm distal to the distal femoral prosthesis stem is an expansile 4.7 x 3.3 x 3.2
permeative lesion with a wide zone of transition and associated periosteal reaction. Cortical
discontinuity noted at the mid-anterior portion of lesion but no fracture line is identified.
Case Discussion
This patient has a known history of metastatic cervical cancer - this lesion represents a new metastatic deposit.
