Right lower ureteric stone with marked right hydro-uretero-nephrosis

Male patient complaining of right renal colic with hematuria

Patient Data

Age: 40
Gender: Male

An oval shaped radiodense stone is seen at the junction between upper 2/3 and lower 1/3 of the right ureter measuring about 0.5 x 1 cm along its maximum diameters and eliciting density of about (690 HU) associated with marked dilatation of the right pelvi-calyceal system and proximal part of the right ureter.

The left kidney shows a tiny upper calyceal stone with no back pressure changes.

Fatty liver.
