Enlarged posteriorly located right ovary measuring 4 x 5 x 6 cm, displacing the uterus anteriorly, with a peripheral rim of restricted diffusion and no contrast enhancement. Right adnexal cyst measuring 4 x 5 cm.
Whirlpool sign seen at the pedicle.
Left ovary of normal size and outline, showing normal contrast enhancement.
Case Discussion
Surgically proven right ovarian torsion with infarction.
