Right pelviureteric junction stricture

Previously healthy patient presented with right sided loin pain. Ultrasound scan demonstrated a possible right side single functioning kidney with hydronephrosis on that side. No hydroureter.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

This is a retrograde ureteropyelogram study. 

There is 12 mm length of narrowing at right pelvicoureteric junction (PUJ) suggesting a PUJ stricture. There is associated renal forniceal blunting suggestive of mild hydronephrosis. No hydroureter

Evidence of right side single functioning kidney.
