Right-sided aortic arch with aberrant left subclavian artery and Kommerell diverticulum is evident.
In imaged portions of the upper abdomen, a low attenuation hepatic lesion, measuring 30×20 mm in diameters, is depicted, located at the 7th hepatic segment (ultrasound confirmed hemangioma).
Case Discussion
Right-sided aortic arch is a type of aortic arch variant characterized by the aortic arch coursing to the right of the trachea.
The two most common patterns are the right-sided aortic arch with mirror image branching (type I) and the right-sided aortic arch with the aberrant left subclavian artery (type II), which may be accompanied by Kommerell diverticulum.
