Shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: Adult.
Gender: Female

Chest x-ray

x-ray

Mobile chest x-ray obtained to confirm the position of a nasogastric tube (which is too high, still in the esophagus) demonstrates collapse of the right upper lobe.

Case Discussion

Right upper lobe collapse is usually relatively easily identified on frontal radiographs.
