Right ventricular enlargement on chest radiography (illustration)

Significant enlargement of the right ventricle may result to an uplifted cardiac apex.

On lateral view, an enlarged right ventricle may result to retrosternal fullness. The anterior cardiac border is in contact with greater than the lower 1/3 of the sternal length.
