Circumferential constriction at the distal esophagus associated with hiatal hernia.
Case Discussion
A short segment of narrowing in the distal esophagus above a hiatal hernia is present. This esophageal peptic stricture could be mistaken for a Schatzki ring, but has a greater vertical height than a true lower esophageal ring.
