There is full thickness fluid cleft replacing supraspinatus tendon. Defect length is about 20 mm. Infraspinatus, subscapularis and biceps long head tendons are intact and normal. Supraspinatus and infraspinatus muscle bellies show normal bulk and echopattern.
There is a linear fibrillary bundle running perpendicular and beneath the infraspinatus tendon.
