Rotator cuff tear

Complete tear of supra and infraspinatus tendons with fatty degeneration of supraspinatus muscle. A gap of 2.5 cm separates the distal end of supraspinatus tendon from its insertion. There is a joint effusion and subacromial subdeltoid bursal fluid collection.
Partial tear of subscapularis tendon due to subcoracoid impingement.
Bony Hill Sachs lesion of the humeral head from previous dislocation.
Subcoracoid bursitis.
Case Discussion
The rotator cuff tear may occur after trauma... In this case the acromioclavicular (AC) osteoarthritis is mild to cause full thickness tear.
Differential diagnoses include
- partial tear
- adhesive capsulitis
- AC osteoarthritis
