Presentation

Pain in abdomen - 1 day

Patient Data

Age: 30 yrs
Gender: Female
Ultrasound

Left ovary - Distended with avascular clot.

Fluid in pelvis and hepatorenal region with echoes suggestive of hemoperitoneum.

Right ovary - normal.

Uterus - Normal.

Case Discussion

Surgically proven case of ruptured left hemorrhagic corpus luteal cyst with hemoperitoneum.
