Leak of contrast from the right external iliac artery inot a large right sided hematoma. It increases in volume from arterial to portal venous phases indicating brisk arterial bleeding. Note marked arterial calcification indicating gross atherosclerosis.
Case Discussion
The site of arterial rupture is well above the inguinal ligament thus not a the point of puncture but more distally in the external iliac presumably due to a tight lumen caused by atherosclerosis.
