Ruptured globe

Young patient hit in the face with an ice hockey stick.


Irregular contour of the right eye globe which appear smaller than the left one. Also the right eye lens is posteriorly subluxated. Moderate periorbital swelling is also present. 

Case Discussion

CT through the orbits demonstrates the right globe to be reduced in size and irregular in shape, in keeping with rupture.
