Ruptured globe

Young patient hit in the face with an ice hockey stick.


CT through the orbits demonstrates the right globe to be reduced in size and irregular in shape and appears smaller than the left one. Also, the right eye lens is posteriorly subluxated. Moderate periorbital swelling is also present. Features are consistent with rupture of the right eye globe.
