Ruptured stent-grafted abdominal aorta due to type III endoleak

Presentation

Left sided abdominal pain and palpable left iliac fossa mass

Patient Data

Age: 85 years
Gender: Male

C- as patient in renal failure

Disruption in the stent graft on the left with resultant endoleak (type 3) causing the aneurysm sac to continue expanding.  Aneurysm has now ruptured causing blood to leak into the left side of the retroperitoneum (arrow).
