Moderate amount of joint effusion, complete rupture of the subscapularis tendon with tendon and muscular retraction forming a 15 mm gap. Empty bicipital groove with the long head of biceps tendon is identified medially. Localized abnormal signal of the pre insertional supraspinatus tendon is demonstrated in both T2 and PD fat sat images suggesting element of tendonosis.
Note: some sequences are degraded by motion artifacts.
Case Discussion
Complete tear of the subscapularis tendon with dislocated long head of biceps tendon and supraspinatus tendinitis.
