Subchondral sclerosis noted at both sacroiliac joint suggestive of bilateral sacroiliitis

Case Discussion

Sacroiliitis is inflammation of the sacroiliac joints and a common cause of lower back pain. AP Oblique views of the sacroiliac joints are additional projections to the lumbar spine series (AP and lateral views) in the evaluation of sacroiliac joints.
