Presentation

Right pelvic pain referred for ct of the lumbo-sacral spines. Extra images on the pelvis were recommended.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

An accessory sacroiliac joints between the posterior aspect of the right sacral ala and an osseous projection of the iliac bone, demonstrates subchondral sclerosis with narrowed joint space.

Case Discussion

This case nicely demonstrates arthritic changes of right Accessory sacroiliac joint, which was responsible for the patient's symptoms. The examined spine was unremarkable.
