Presentation

Asymptomatic 2nd gravida female presented for 20 wks anomaly scan.

Patient Data

Age: 25 yrs
ultrasound

Transabdominal ultrasound images show fetal unilateral parotid and submandibular glands. No attempt was done to see opposite side of glands which were away from the probe. The fetal anatomical survey was normal. 

Case Discussion

Transabdominal ultrasound shows fetal normal salivary glands at 20 wks of gestation. Parotid and submandibular glands are seen. However, sublingual glands could not be localized.
