Salter-Harris type I fracture of distal fibula

Soft tissue swelling centered adjacent to the fibula's growth plate and pretty discreet medial widening of its the growth plate relative to the lateral portion of distal tibia growth plate.
Case Discussion
Frontal and internal oblique radiographs show an Salter-Harris type I fracture of the left distal fibula due to supination-adduction injury. Hints to identify and diagnose this trauma injury are: 1) lateral soft tissue swelling adjacent to the growth plate; and 2) mild widening of the growth plate relative to the lateral portion of distal tibial growth plate.
