16 years old boy who presented to emergency department post fall from the bike. On examination swelling overlying ulnar aspect of the hand.

Age: 16
Gender: Male
x-ray

Displaced fracture of little finger proximal phalanx epiphysis representing type III fracture as per Salter - Harris classification of physeal fractures. 

Case Discussion

Salter- Harris type III fracture is not commonly seen.

It involves fracture through growth plate and down through the epiphysis.
