There is a well-defined, lobulated, thin-walled, anechoic lesion on dorsal aspect of wrist. It is non-compressible. There is no vascularity. Lesion overlies scapho-lunate region, between 2nd and 4th extensor compartments.
Approximate size is 14 x 14 x 7 mm.
There is neck extension to the scapho-lunate joint. There is a fluid cleft in dorsal scapho-lunate ligament.
There is no joint effusion or extensor tenosynovitis.
Findings suggest scapho-lunate ganglia.
