Recent headache and confusion, ? encephalitis

Age: 30 years

Markedly dolichocephalic skull (i.e. long and thin with normal brain structures).

Case Discussion

Premature fusion of the sagittal suture is the most common synostosis and is usually "benign" with regard to the brain producing a cosmetically long and narrow skull, but no abnormal pressure effects on the brain.
