Presentation

Wrist pain and limited movement following trauma 2 months ago.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Non-united fracture of the scaphoid. Abnormal signal of the scaphoid proximal pole with low signal on  T1W and high signal on PD/T2W sequences denotes scaphoid avascular necrosis.

Case Discussion

Regarding the imaging findings, a fractured scaphoid complicated by non-union and avascular necrosis is demonstrated.
