Presentation

Drunk and FOOSH. Radial-sided wrist pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Undisplaced fracture of the waist of the scaphoid bone. No scapholunate interval widening. No other injury evident. Tape artefact noted over the base of the thumb (bandage related).

Case Discussion

The patient recovered well with cast immobilization.
