Chronic wrist pain

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male
  • scapholunate diastasis with widening and proximal migration of the scaphoid
  • rotatory subluxation of the scaphoid
  • advanced secondary osteoarthritis of the radioscaphoid and to a lesser extent the capitolunate articulations with large subchondral geode within the distal radius
  • a true lateral has not been obtained making assessment of any dorsal intercalated segmental instability (DISI) difficult
