Non-traumatic right wrist pain on the dorsal aspect.
Patient Data
Multiple short-axis images of the dorsal wrist at scapholunate joint region. A cystic focus is sitting over the scapholunate joint in favor of a ganglion. An inhomogeneous echo pattern of the scapholunate ligament. The affected side lunate appears to be 'very large' due to the lunotriquetral coalition.
Comparison with opposite side shows normal lunotriquetral articulation cleft.
FU after about 1 mth for increasing pain.

The ganglion cyst has increased in size in comparison to the previous USG.
Case Discussion
Findings favor scapholunate ganglion cyst - a most common site in the wrist.
An incidental finding of the lunotriquetral coalition.
