An enhancing nodule seen in the subcutaneous fat in left iliac fossa region, with streakiness in its surrounding fat.
Case Discussion
Scar endometriosis is a pathological diagnosis, yet certain clinical features (like pain typically during menses), in a nodule at scar site, with some radiological features may point towards the diagnosis. MRI may be little more indicative, in the background of endometriosis, however, isolated scar endometriosis is usually a clinico-radiological conclusion. For such a small nodule, excision biopsy is usually done, rather than FNAC. Excision biopsy-proved diagnosis in this case.
