A grey matter-lined CSF cleft is seen crossing the right parietal lobe reaching the body of right lateral ventricle, in keeping with open-lip schizencephaly.
Areas of grey-matter intensity are seen in subcortical white matter in the right posterior temporal and parietal lobes, reflecting grey matter heterotopia.
Absent septum pellucidum.
Case Discussion
MRI appearance of right-sided schizencephaly crossing the right parietal lobe. It is associated with absent septum pellucidum and grey matter heterotopia.
