Schizencephaly and absent septum pellucidum

Case contributed by Frank Gaillard
Diagnosis certain

Open-lip schizencephaly is identified in the posterior right frontal lobe. The cortex of the left sylvian fissure appears abnormally thick, likely representing pachygyria.

The septum pellucidum is absent, perhaps representing associated septooptic dysplasia.
