Sagittal T1 C+ fat sat
Selected sagittal images demonstrate a vividly enhancing intrathecal mass is located below the conus. The differential diagnosis is primarily between a schwannoma and a myxopapillary ependymoma.
The patient underwent resection which confirmed diagnosis of a schwannoma.
