Complaining of proximal third of left thigh lump on the posterior-medial side for the last 6 months.

There is a well-defined lesion in the region of interest.

- craniocaudal 76 mm
- axial 50 mm
- anteroposterior 36 mm
Location
- possibly intermuscular plane; between adductors and semimembranosus
- reaches up to fascia superficially
- separate from bone
Morphology
- encapsulated
- solid with cystic changes
- hypoechoic solid areas
- possible tiny calcification present
- few lobulations present
- posterior acoustic enhancement present
- not compressible
- echogenic fat cap is present at ends of the lesion
- no structure identified either entering or exiting the lesion
Doppler study
- arterial as well as venous flow present

Case Discussion
An adult female presented with a thigh lump for the last few months. Ultrasound shows a well-defined solid mass lesion. Surgical excision of the lesion was done. Histopathology followed by immunohistochemistry revealed the lesion being cellular schwannoma.
