There are bilateral interlobular septal thickening and subpleural lines peripherally and basally, accompanied by small tractional bronchiectasis and air cysts.
A dilated patulous esophagus is present, particularly at the distal portion.
Case Discussion
The combination of basal pulmonary fibrosis and a dilated esophagus is undoubtedly suggestive of scleroderma. (known case)
