Scleroderma-related lung changes

57 year old man presents with acute on chronic shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 57
Gender: Male

Dilated esophagus. Peripheral reticulation with a basal gradient but with subpleural sparing. Centrilobular air space opacities in the right superior lower lobe, suggestive of aspiration.

Case Discussion

Patient has confirmed history of scleroderma.
