A well defined fluid density lesion seen of the left side of the neck. It is T2 hyperintense, not suppressed on fat-saturated images and is relatively isointense to hyperintense on T1. The lesion is seen at the carotid bifurcation level. There is relatively T2 hyperintense communication extending inferiorly towards the mediastinum.
