Modality: X-ray

Dislocation of the second carpometacarpal phalangeal joint. No other dislocation and no fracture is identified.

Case Discussion

Metacarpophalangeal joint dislocations are much more common at the thumb (1st digit) and fifth digit, with former represented by fracture-dislocations (e.g. Bennett/Rolando fracture dislocations).
