Avusion fracture from lateral tibial plateau with attachment of few posterior fibres of ilio-tibial tract on fracture fragment.

Avulsion fracture of the anterior cruciate ligament from its tibial attachment.

Moderate lipohaemarthrosis.

Kissing bone marrow oedema of the lateral tibial plateau and lateral femoral condyle with focal depression (notch sign).

Torn attachment of anterior horn of the lateral meniscus.

Infrapatellar pad of fat injury.

Case Discussion

Patient had segond fracture in this case and further evaluated for anterior cruciate ligament injury, however on subsequent study it was found that patient also had tibial avulsion fracture of anterior cruciate ligament and moderate lipohaemarthrosis.
