Low power histology - well defined interface between sheets of tumour cells (left) and adjacent testicular parenchyma with compressed seminiferous tubules (right).
High power histology - coalescing nodules of large tumour cells with large nuclei and abundant cleared cytoplasm. The thin strands of intervening stroma contain reactive lymphocytes (compare nuclear size).
Case Discussion
The features are of pure seminoma. There were no non-seminomatous elements identified.
