Incidental finding on a thoracic CT for lung fibrosis.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

These 1-3 mm calcifications are distributed randomly in the pancreas.

Case Discussion

These 1-3 mm calcifications are distributed randomly are actually small calculi in the peripheral ducts. They are not necessarily associated with chronic pancreatitis and may be associated with pancreatic atrophy 1.
