Presentation

Pelvic pain.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Large well-defined ovoid unilocular cyst of intervesicouterine location arising most likely from the left ovary, displaying a homogeneous low signal on T1 and high signal on T2 with no restricted diffusion or enhancement on postcontrast sequences. No internal septation or solid component.

Normal appearance of the uterus, the thickness of the junctional zone =10 mm.

MRI features of unilocular ovarian cyst with no solid component, internal septation or restricted diffusion in a postmenopausal woman suggestive of serous inclusion cyst.
