Gender: Male

A corticated, oval shape opacity is well defined on the posterior aspect of lower neck at the level of C5. 

Case Discussion

Features are consistent with sesamoid ossicle of the nuchal ligament which is a relatively common anatomical variant that are usually asymptomatic and most commonly occur at the C5/6 or C6/7 vertebral levels.
