Work up for knee pain.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

A sessile bony mass arising from the posterolateral aspect of the distal segment of the right femur appears to be continuous with the medullary cavity.

Mild degenerative changes in the right knee joint.

Case Discussion

A typical sessile osteochondroma which is frequently asymptomatic and has very low malignant potential if sporadic and solitary.
