Severe long-standing hydronephrosis

Severe hydronephrosis and marked renal parenchymal atrophy are seen in the right side due of a 32 mm stone which is located in the renal pelvis and ureteropelvic junction. In addition, several small stones are noted in the dependent part of the right renal collecting system.
A 6 mm small cyst is noted in the left liver lobe.
A few subcentimeter simple cortical cysts are seen in the left kidney.
Case Discussion
Severe long-standing hydronephrosis secondary to the large pelvic and ureteropelvic junction stone causes marked renal parenchymal atrophy.
