High speed MVA. Positive FAST. Systolic BP 100 mmHg.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Shattered spleen with contrast extravasation. Massive hemoperitoneum. Liver, pancreas, gallbladder, kidneys and adrenal glands all appear uninjured.

The patient underwent successful angioembolisation of the splenic artery.
