The nerve and blood supply to the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, rhomboid and levator scapulae muscles is illustrated. Note that the suprascapular artery travels above the superior transverse scapular ligament and the nerve below, at the suprascapular notch. 

Scapulothoracic stabilizing muscles include levator scapulae, rhomboid minor and major.
