Shoulder anterior dislocation

Presentation

Alleged fall, landing over the right shoulder with persistent right shoulder pain for an hour, clinically painful deformity of the right shoulder with limited range of movement, and an unusual gap in the deltoid region, no open injury, neurological deficit or compromised circulation.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

Initial Rt shoulder radiograph

x-ray

• evidence of anterior shoulder dislocation

• the acromioclavicular joint appears normal 

• no clear fracture is seen

Control X-ray post reduction

x-ray

Post reduction X-Ray revealed the good position of the right glenohumeral joint.

Case Discussion

The reduction was achieved in our center and the post-reduction X-ray showed an excellent result.
