Presentation

Lump at the tip of the left scapula.

Patient Data

Age: 14 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

Deep to the subcutaneous fat, but outwith the thoracic cage is an ovoid vascular lesion.

mri

High-T2, low-T1 lesion with avid and homogeneous contrast enhancement.

Case Discussion

Situated on the posterior aspect of the thoracic cage is a large enhancing mass lesion with features of an intramuscular hemangioma.
