Presentation

Right submandibular region pain, swelling - 3 - 4 days. H/o similar compaints few months back.

Patient Data

Age: 20 yrs
Gender: Female
ultrasound

The right submandibular gland demonstrates:

  • mild enlargement
  • hypoechogenicity
  • dilated main duct with a calculus ( 6 mm ) in distal duct.
  • hypervascularity
