Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Focally inflamed diverticulum projecting from the posterior aspect of the proximal sigmoid colon, with associated segmental colonic wall thickening and pericolonic/peridiverticular inflammation. No extraluminal locules of air or organized fluid collections.

Incidental note of multiple benign liver cysts.
