No mesh identified (as expected due to it being biological), and no mesh complications such as inflammation. Moderate sigmoid diverticulosis with numerous diverticula and circumferential smooth muscle thickening. No fluid collection. No perforation.
Case Discussion
Diverticulosis of the colon may be observed on many different imaging modalities, most frequently CT as a cause of symptoms, but also as an "incidental" finding on other modalities such as ultrasound and MRI.
