Presentation
Chronic nasal obstruction and runny nose, and sneezing.
Patient Data

There is a remarkable mucosal thickening in all paranasal sinuses with sinus cavities and ostiomeatal complex (OMC) obliteration. Note also the diffuse soft tissue thickening of left inferior nasal concha mostly in the posterior part that bulges within ipsilateral nasopharynx and bony septae attenuation in ethmoid air cells.
Case Discussion
Sinonasal polyposis is a disease that cystic fibrosis (CF) and chronic allergic fungal sinusitis can be the main underlying causes, in addition, can also be associated with a life-threatening aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD). Functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) and corticosteroid therapy are the main treatment options but recurrence rate is relatively high.
